The Process & Science Behind Organic-Gro™
Organic-Gro™ All Natural Fertilizers are derived entirely poultry litter and other by-products of the feed industry.
Organic-Gro™ is not created by composting or simple dehydration. Rather it is created in a process where the structure of the litter is reorganized on the molecular level to create a life-generating resource that is a unique blend of enzymes and organic compounds. This process creates an all organic nutrient product with highly water-insoluble properties. Indeed, the finished product can not, will not, revert back to its original form or composition because the litter is no longer litter, but a very viable and stable all-natural, consumer and ecological-friendly fertilizer. The manufacturing process treats the litter with organic compounds provide extra oxygen to the root zones of the plants and stabilizes the nutrients. The product is then triple heat-treated to 175-200 degrees. The product, by design, becomes attracted to the soil, which makes it very difficult to leach. Another important component of the process is the precise way the ammonia (nitrates) are modified into stable nutrients, in a form that cannot be readily absorbed by the plant. It has to be broken down into amino acids before it can be utilized, thus providing Organic-Gro™ with its time-release properties.
These characteristics give Organic-Gro™ the unique quality of being a positive contributor on every level: to plants, people, animals and the planet. The system uses the natural soil as a reservoir of the nutrients. When the plants need nutrition, they stimulate microbial activity which in turn breaks down the nutrients into a form the plant can use. Mother Nature works as her own horticulturist. These microbes can sufficiently work at temperatures of 50 degrees or
above. When late fall approaches and soil temperature drops below 50 degrees, the microbes cease to work and the plant life goes dormant. So Organic-Gro™ can be applied at any time of the year in any part of the country without any fear of harming plants, animals or the environment.
