DOLLARS DOWN THE DRAIN. Chemical fertilizers commonly call for applications of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium in amounts greater than can be immediately assimilated by plants and soil. Literally, as much as 35% of nitrogen and 15% to 20% of phosphorus and potassium will leach away with watering or normal rainfall. Regenerated Resources organic products become a part of the soil. Our products are specially formulated to tie-up the insoluble nutrients, until an enzymatic signal from the plants stimulates increased microbial activity to feed the plant. Unless your topsoil is washed away, your plants and grasses will have a slowly available, continuous supply of vital nutrients. PREVENTS EROSION. Organic matter acts as one of the major reservoirs of SOIL NUTRIENTS AND WATER. Holding six times its own weight in water, organic matter makes soil less susceptible to erosion. Data from soil erosion studies proves that increasing a soils organic matter content by as little as 1% to 3% reduces erosion by as much as one-third to one-fifth. An equivalent loss of organic material results in the reverse, erosion increases.

DOES NOT ADD TO SALT BUILD UP. Chemical fertilizers use salt bases to carry nutrients. These salts build up in the soil over time, depleting the beneficial microbes and reducing the population of earthworms. The soil reaches its maximum saturation point for being able to survive in spite of the salt content and begins to die. Additional applications of chemical fertilizers do not help your plants at this point. Turf grasses die, plants die. Even total turf replacement may fail because your base soil has been polluted i.e.: permanently damaged by chemical build up.

TOP DRESS TO REDUCE THATCH. Top-Dressing reduces thatch by speeding up the natural decomposition process performed by microorganisms. If you have applied chemicals to your lawn, then you need to top-dress with Regenerated Resources organic products to rescue the beneficial microorganisms and earthworms. Earthworms are your best defense against thatch; they love Regenerated Resources products because they are ALL ORGANIC AND NON-TOXIC.

FEWER APPLICATIONS. Slow N-P-K release means necessary available (soluble) nutrients are released at first watering, then time released (enzymatically signaled by the hungry plant) over twelve to fourteen weeks. Slow, steady plant growth means OPTIMUM BEAUTY, MINIMUM LABOR. Nutrients are non-leaching and do not evaporate away. Will not burn plants or turf when applied as directed.
